Homemade Gluten-Free Granola Bar Recipe

Super Easy, Super Yummy Granola Bar Recipe

Granola Bars are one of those great grab and go breakfasts, or after school snacks.  You can modify this granola bar recipe by adding dried fruit, nuts, or chocolate chips.



2 cups Rolled Oats

1 tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 tablespoon Flax Seeds

¼ cup Honey

1 tablespoon Butter + enough to grease a pan

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

½ cup Brown Sugar

½ teaspoon Salt



Preheat oven to 300°. Grease an 8 x 11 inch glass dish with butter.

Mix oats, chia seeds, and flax seeds together in a medium mixing bowl.  Set aside.

In a medium sauce pan melt together honey, vanilla, brown sugar and salt. When the mixture begins to boil, pour over the oat mixture and stir to combine.  Pour into the pre-greased pan.  Press the honey oat mixture with the back of a metal spoon.  Bake at 300° for 25 minutes.  Cut while warm.  Keep in an air tight container for 1 week, or freeze.
