Grandpa Madsen's Dill Pickles

This year we decided to give each of our kids their own space in the garden boxes to plant whatever they wanted.  My Little Eliza decided to plant pickles.  I had to explain that we can’t grow pickles, but we could grow cucumbers and make them into Grandpa Madsen’s Dill Pickles.  She thought that sounded even better. Grandpa Madsen's Dill Pickles So 2 months after she gently placed her tiny seedling in the ground, we’ve got enough pickling cucumbers to make our first jar of pickles.  This recipe so simple, even a 5 year old can help you make them.
